• 3-4 medium-sized potatoes
• 2 tbsp cornflour
• Salt to taste
• Oil for deep frying
• Peri Peri Masala:
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp oregano
• ½ tsp black salt
• 1 tsp chili flakes
Method:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into thin French fries shape.
2. Wash and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes.
3. Boil the fries for 5 minutes, drain, and let them dry completely.
4. Coat the fries with cornflour and salt. For extra crispiness, freeze them for 30 minutes.
5. Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the fries until golden and crispy.
6. In a mixing bowl, add the fries and sprinkle the prepared Peri Peri masala. Toss well.
